A general split app usually starts afterwards with a total or receipt. DrinkSync starts with the round itself: who paid, who joined, and which drink belonged to each person.
Method 1, splitting the total equally, is quick when everyone orders roughly the same. More expensive drinks and skipped rounds disappear into the average.
Method 2, a separate payment request per purchase, is clear when the group settles immediately. Many rounds create many requests without one shared final balance.
Method 3, scanning a receipt and splitting items per person, is ideal for a shared total bill at a terrace or bar. Check the recognized items and participants before saving.
Method 4, tracking every drink during the night, fits groups where prices and participants change per round. Each short entry builds one verifiable balance.
DrinkSync supports Premium receipt scanning as well as the fourth method. A cocktail stays with the right person, anyone who skips a round pays nothing for it, and a late arrival only joins from their first round.

DrinkSync calculates the final balance but does not process payments. Use your own banking app for the transfer or payment request.
